Bowery: Past, Present and Future

The very persistent David Mulkins is speaking on the endlessly fascinating topic of the Bowery tonight at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. David heads up the Bowery Alliance of Neighbors and judging by my acquaintance with him over the last few months, I won’t be a bit surprised if he accomplishes all of his goals. He eats, sleeps and drinks the Bowery….and he doesn’t even live in a flophouse!
