Three important news items for fans of the great magic (and magic debunking) team of Penn and Teller.
First, Penn Jillette now has a new novel out, called Random. New Yorkers should be glad to know that he’ll be signing copies tonight at the Union Square Barnes and Noble (see above). I wonder how many know what a special location that is. Back in the day, right across the park was the old Rialto, New York’s theatre district after the Bowery and before Times Square. Great vaudeville venues like Tony Pastor’s and Keith’s Union Square were located there: good vaudeville mojo. And with Halloween around the corner!
The other good news concerns Teller, though it’s more like a crawl back from bad news. The silent member of the team recently had a scary quadruple bypass; he made a public statement a few days ago to let his fans know that he’s doing great and recuperating.
And the last piece of news concerns them both. The first episode of the new season of Penn and Teller: Fool Us just dropped. Stream it here.
