Ye Gods, how did this happen! My good friend Seth Shelden the Nobel Prize winning Harpo Marx impersonator wrote me TWO MONTHS ago to let me know his mom, the educator, scholar and feminist Dr. Pamela Shelden, a member of Engendered Collective, would be appearing on this podcast with another Pam, writer Pam Munter to talk about her new book Fading Fame: Women of a Certain Age in Hollywood. This is naturally a topic of interest not only to ourselves but I know to many of our readers, as well, so we apologize for the delay of several weeks. I think it had to do with the fact that the message arrived just as I was engaged in rolling out my show The Pilgrims Progress, and then came the holidays. And you can tell I’ve taken the early days of the New Year to catch up with the backlog now. But the topic remains a timely one, and the conversation between the Two Pams a rich one.
