May 1 is traditionally International Workers’ Day in much of the world. What better way to observe it than with the release of Edward Einhorn’s three part radio adaptation of Jack London’s 1907 socialist novel The Iron Heel? I was part of the live production in 2016; I reprise my role as villainous oligarch Wickson in the current audio version. Also in the production are Craig Anderson, Kevin Argus, John Bronston, Joshua Wolf Coleman, Ivanna Cullinan, Yael Haksal, Jason Harris, Mike Iveson Jr, Jenny Lee Mitchell, Yvonne Roen, Victoria Rulle, and Maxwell Zener.
The three part dystopian drama is available to listen to via these platforms:
via Podbean
via Spotify
via Gaana
via iHeartRADIO
via Stitcher
via PlayerFm
via TuneIn
via Audible
via ListenNotes
But wait! There’s more! Einhorn and Untitled Theatre Company #61 have organized three listening parties featuring special guest speakers:
May 1, 3pm: Episode 1, special guest Dr. Erik Loomis, expert on labor history
May 15, 4pm: Episode 2, special guest Deborah Shaffer, Academy-Award winning documentarian, director of the film The Wobblies.
May 29, 4pm: Episode 3, special guest Jay Williams, author of a three volume biography of Jack London (Author Under Sail)
