This Fall: Talks on Jerry Lewis, Buster Keaton, and More!

Autumn is soon upon us and that means Old School is back in session — virtually, like all the other schools. Today being the 3rd anniversary of the passing of Jerry Lewis, seems a propitious time to announce that he’ll be our first topic, timed naturally around Labor Day, once the annual date of his annual MD telethon.

As always, the talks are free to my Patreon supporters and $5 per to the general public via paypal (travsd1965@yahoo.com).  The full line up is:

Writer and performer Trav S.D. (www.travsd.com) is best known for his books "No Applause, Just Throw Money: The Book That Made Vaudeville Famous" (2005) and "Chain of Fools: Silent Comedy and Its Legacies from Nickelodeons to Youtube" (2013). In 2014 he produced and directed the smash-hit "I’ll Say She Is", the first ever revival of the Marx Brothers hit 1924 Broadway show in the NY International Fringe Festival.
