This Week: The Return of “Me and Lee”

Good news for folks who may have missed our earlier performances of Jason Trachtenburg’s Me and Lee over the past year at Sidewalk, Dixon Place, the Brick, and Theater for the New City. We filmed it this past summer so it now has legs and will be available hither and yon for all eternity. This week you can see it at the Way Station, 683 Washington Ave in Brooklyn on Monday, November 18 at 8pm! I and the rest of the cast will be there performing live as a pre-show! OR if you are truly hardcore, catch it at the 7th annual JFK Assassination Conference in Dallas on Friday, November 22, the 57th anniversary of the national tragedy.

Monday’s performance has no cover charge, and there will be copies of the DVD and soundtrack CD on sale.  Be there or be quadrilateral!

Writer and performer Trav S.D. (www.travsd.com) is best known for his books "No Applause, Just Throw Money: The Book That Made Vaudeville Famous" (2005) and "Chain of Fools: Silent Comedy and Its Legacies from Nickelodeons to Youtube" (2013). In 2014 he produced and directed the smash-hit "I’ll Say She Is", the first ever revival of the Marx Brothers hit 1924 Broadway show in the NY International Fringe Festival.
