The American Vaudeville Theatre in the Media

Our new edition of the American Vaudeville Theatre opens in just two days. We’re sort of doing a soft open on this li’l experiment, but some old friends have given us some nice attention all the same. Chelsea Community News gave us this great listing. And generous gentleman Jim Moore interviewed me yesterday on Vaudevisuals.com. I look like an insane bum in the video, but there is nothing like a wake-up call to wake you up. Best to close your eyes or turn the picture off and listen, as the interview itself went great…I just need 2 or 3 stylists on my payroll. Do you know any that will work for Monopoly money? Writer and performer Trav S.D. (www.travsd.com) is best known for his books "No Applause, Just Throw Money: The Book That Made Vaudeville Famous" (2005) and "Chain of Fools: Silent Comedy and Its Legacies from Nickelodeons to Youtube" (2013). In 2014 he produced and directed the smash-hit "I’ll Say She Is", the first ever revival of the Marx Brothers hit 1924 Broadway show in the NY International Fringe Festival.
