I heard from my pal Barry Mitchell last night that Jean Darling has passed away. Among other things, the former child star was one of the original Our Gang.
Ironically, I became aware of Ms. Darling not through her original movies but via a neo-silent film she made (at the age of 91!) with Dutch singer and television personality René Riva in 2013. I stumbled across it when I was researching Chain of Fools.
