This one exists only at the fringes of my consciousness. It ran only one season (1967-68) but then was shown again in reruns in 1970. I thought of it in connection with today’s earlier Jack Cassidy post.
He and She featured real life married couple Richard Benjamin and Paula Prentiss as a successful cartoonist and his wife, a social worker (one of the first working woman characters on television). Cassidy played Oscar North, a ham actor who portrayed Benjamin’s super hero character Jetman on television. Kenneth Mars played a fireman who frequently crawled in the window from the firehouse next door. And now, to whet your appetite, the beginning of the first episode:
