Born Samuel Kahn (circa 1870), Major Atom was the nephew of Leopold Kahn a.k.a Admiral Dot. Weighing in at 15 lbs, he sang and danced and was often billed as “the most symmetrical man of his size in the world”. His years of exhibition spanned circa 1880 through 1896, at which time he moved to White Plains to help Admiral Dot run his hotel. Major Atom was the night clerk.
