Think-a-Drink Hoffman

Jesus ain’t a drug next to Mr. Charles “Think-a-Drink” Hoffman (1895-1965). The former just changed water into wine; the latter could produce ANY beverage named by an audience member from the same cocktail shaker. Dressed as a mixologist from a high class hotel bar, he performed this very fluid magic act in vaudeville theatres, revues and nightclubs in the 30s and 40s.

To find out more about these variety artists and the history of vaudevilleconsult No Applause, Just Throw Money: The Book That Made Vaudeville Famous, available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and wherever nutty books are sold.
