Jules Munshin (born today in 1915) is the poor shlub who was one of the trio in On the Town, but who has the misfortune to be neither Gene Kelly nor Frank Sinatra. If you think that’s not an indignity, look at this poster.
Munshin started out in vaudeville and Catskills resorts before Broadway and MGM musicals called. He was also in Cole’s Porter’s Silk Stockings and Easter Parade by Irving Berlin. He died in 1970.
