Today is the birthday of Star of Vaudeville #461: Clarice Vance (Clara Etta Black, 1870-1961). See my earlier post here for a full biography. Here she singing her 1909 hit “Love Me Like I Like to be Loved”, with a brief introduction by “the Victrola Man.”
