Julie Halston Opens Tonight in “Classical Julie”

Tonight the divine JULIE HALSTON Returns to Birdland for a Month-Long Run of CLASSICAL JULIE playing Mondays, March 4, 11, 18, & 25 at 7 p.m.
Halston made a name for herself with her performances alonside actor/playwright Charles Busch in VAMPIRE LESBIANS OF SODOM, THE LADY IN QUESTION, RED SCARE ON SUNSET, and THE DIVINE SISTER and appeared recently in the Tony-Award winning Broadway musical revival, ANYTHING GOES, etc etc etc
In CLASSICAL JULIE she offers classic Halston rants (New York Times wedding announcements and Joan Crawford, among them) along with brand new material, including her fresh takes on Shakespeare, Ibsen and other writers of considerable renown. Hence the title, I take it!
