The Big Time: New Card Game from Barnacle Press
Designer Mike Holmes tells me his swell new card game “The Big Time”, now available from Barnacle Press, was partially inspired by No Applause. It looks fairly ingenious. In the book I’d said that assembling a vaudeville bill was like putting together a winning hand in a poker game. In “The Big Time” each player gets to be a Big Time Chicago Vaudeville Manager, trying to assemble the winning bill. My kids will tell ya, I’m horrible at games, but this is one I just might be able to concentrate on! Info and ordering here.
